AAMHatch operates 12 aerial survey aircraft working through Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Middle East and other international locations. LiDAR sensors purchased and commissioned this year comprise the latest models available from Optech and Leica.
Having implemented LiDAR technology into the Australasian region in 1998 our staff are the most experienced in Australia. We take advantage of GPS and airborne direct, georeferencing technologies in every phase of your projects to deliver new levels of product accuracy and cost effectiveness.
We have experience undertaking large and small projects. To date our largest single project exceeds 30,000 sq km in size.
Contact us for a discussion of your customised requirements or enquire about coverage of your area from our off-the-shelf datasets.
LiDAR efficiently produces high definition, high accuracy terrain, elevation and canopy models. In densely vegetated areas LiDAR routinely provides a more rapid and detailed terrain model than photogrammetry for broadscale projects.
In addition to terrain models (bare-earth), LiDAR data is classified to define above ground features such as powerlines and building heights, as well as to deliver tree canopy models.
